UNPERCEIVED MIRACLE
Digital Art in Procreate

"Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, ‘They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!"
John 20:1-2

Mary, visiting Jesus' tomb early one morning, was completely unprepared for what she saw. The stone rolled aside...An empty grave. Her only logical conclusion was that Jesus' body had to have been stolen by the Romans so she ran back to tell the others. Yet her unbelief in the resurrection didn't keep it from happening. God's power had raised Jesus from the dead and in a few short hours, she would meet her risen Lord in that same quiet garden and her spiritual eyes would be opened. The physical ramifications of this broken earth can put such despair and hopelessness upon a person that it can be incredibly hard to perceive the ever-present goodness of God. Yet, scripture states that Jesus is alive in all of His love and glory and he will remain the same yesterday, today, and forever. His mercy and love are greater than our sin and unbelief. I pray that today His resurrection power would invade our broken lives right in the garden of our unbelief and fill us with the amazement, joy, and laughter of his presence.
