Behold...
I drew this image desiring to portray a more complete picture of who Jesus is. Most of what we see about Jesus during Christmas time celebrates His birth, which is good and very appropriate. I think it increases our awe and wonder of this, though, if we also consider Him when He had later grown into a man. At this time He chose to sacrifice His own life to die on a cross. The stream flowing from the foot of the cross is His blood shed for our sins and the sins of the whole world. Being a black and white illustration, the stream's "white"ness also can represent Jesus' healing light and forgiveness offered to cleanse us of our sins. Dimensions: 5.25"x7.75"
