THE PROPHETIC WORD

Here I am illustrating the reality that God can speak in miraculous ways directly between one another as believers. The tongue of fire represents the power and presence of the Holy Spirit as the word is spoken forth in faith. The Holy Scriptures are open below to represent the truth of God permeating the spoken word. I don't believe this means a spoken word has to have scripture verbatim in its message, but it must accurately represent the Father's good and loving heart as it is revealed in the Bible. God is so much more intimately acquainted with us than we realize and although He knows the very depths of our souls, He only has good thoughts about us, so many good thoughts! (See Psalm 139.) These spoken words from a loving brother or sister are just some of those good thoughts He wants us to hear.
